Monday, second day off from work. Moving into my new house. Adjusting lots of things here!


Workout: Day 1 Strength Strength(Classic)  

Day 1 (11/28/11): Today is my first official day doing Starting Strength. Which is a 5×5 method(5 sets of 5 reps five times) which today included, Squat, Bench Press & Deadlift. Now I don’t have a squat bar so I had skipped the Squat section. This was the first time ever doing Bench Press before. You start with 45lbs(olympic bar) and gradually bump up in weight until you get to 100lbs and do 3 sets of 5 reps. Overall it felt really nice and was defiantly a change. I had someone spot me just to be safe though.  I still need to purchase my Serious Mass weight gainer so I can have supplemental help with reaching my calories. Overal though I’m looking forward to this new program. I intend to do it for a while and once P90X2 comes out. Maybe just incorporate certain P90X2 workouts with this schedule. I’m doing Starting Strength 3 times a week so the other 4 right now is ABs/Yoga and other workouts from P90X Classic. Once the X2 comes out we’ll switch over to that. Tomorrow is AB Ripper X, looking forward to it!
