P90X Mass VERSION 2.0. (ROUND 5)
DAY 1: HEAVY CHEST SHOULDERS TRICEPS +AB
2 serving black powder
2 serving creatine
2 serving xtend
Sunday, my day off. Hoorah!
Workout: Day 1, Round 5(in total), Mass Round (v2). Heavy Chest Shoulders Triceps(15lb vest) + AB Ripper X!
Day 1: Well here we are, back to the beginning where it all started. I’m pretty much addicted to P90X Programs, I dunno why but I feel it suits me the best. Call me “living inside a box and not wanting to explore new stuff” if you want lol. Still, I enjoy P90X, so I’ll continue to use it. Its been about 2 weeks since I last posted on my website. I’ve been figuring out what exactly I wanted to do for this next round, catching up on work related projects and quitting my relapse to world of warcraft(if you dont know about this already, check my youtube channel for the video!).
With all that being said, today was day 1 of my new p90x mass round. This round we are focusing on 6-8 reps for majority and the workout regime is a little bit different than my last mass round. I found this new regime online, tweaked it a bit for my style personally. Overall i’m looking forward to this round, the main struggle will be staying motivated to workout everyday after sometime 10 hour work days.
If anyone is interested in starting their p90x round with me, now is defiantly the time. Not only will we be preparing for P90X2 and getting stronger. We can also make each other accountable and motivated to keep going! So whats to lose? Nothing!
As far as how the workout went today, I took black powder(2 servings), 30 minutes prior to workout. After that I had some energy and did my workout with my 15 pound weighted vest. I got all the way through my workout. I was pretty worn out that. I focused on 6-8 reps with the 15 pound vest on. If i was able to do more reps, I simply added a 3-4 count in between reps to make them more intense. It seemed to work pretty good. After the main workout, I finished it off with AB Ripper X. I tried for the firs time, sipping my post workout drink( 2 serving creatine= 10g, and 2 serving xtend) througout my workout. It helped to give me constant endurance to make it through without quitting!
Overall I’m pleased with how today’s workout went. Looking forward to tomorrow which will be Day 2: Heavy back and biceps. I plan on trying to post equivalent youtube videos detailing each day if I can. They most likely will be audio clips but at least if you hate reading you can listen instead. So stay tuned for those!
