Today I wanted to just kind of blog about whats on my mind with the year ending so I’ll go ahead and do just that.
As the year 2012 draws to a close, I look back to all the great strides to my dreams I’ve made. Being able to quit my day job to pursue my passion is one of the biggest ones but I’m also thankful for being given the opportunity. A lot of tragic world events have happened in the year of 2012 and with it the country of my america is left confused and torn. I don’t get much into politics myself but during this year I feel, I have draw closer to the lord and pressed into him. Meaning he is the driver of my life. The best I can do is stay diligent and on the path he has set before me. I’m not sure where the path goes because if I did, I probably wouldn’t be able to handle the awesomeness of it all!
Fitness in 2012 definitely had its ups and downs for me. I started the year at 152lbs, working my fast paced job demanded more than my allotted time to reach caloric intakes each day which left me in deficit. I peaked at 159lbs in September and since then I’m back down to 156lbs. My approach to dieting is usually very strict and I often times do pretty good in hitting above 3000 per day. Still though recently I’ve fallen off the wagon on my strict eating and my stomach adjusted quite quickly to my old calorie diet. In the month of December I’ve about a 2400 average calories per day. I should be aiming to hit at least 3000 per day in order to continue gaining muscle. My goal this year was to hit 170lbs I was close (11lbs) but no cigar. So in 2013 I’ll hope to hit that 170lb goal for sure! This isn’t another new years resolution that most people give up by February. This is me talking to myself telling myself I will do this and speaking it up!
I believe the year 2013 will be the year of overflowing blessings upon my business and things that I do. If you want it to be that year for you too I suggest connecting with encouraging people and being positive to start. Have faith my friends that 2013 will be the year of overflowing blessings!
Matthew 17:20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” (Jesus Speaking)
