L-Glutamine

Glutamine is found naturally in food like meat and eggs. Most of us know it aids recovery and muscle building but another benefit of glutamine is its ability to strengthen the gut barrier. Gut permeability is a big problem in today's society, supplementing with glutamine is a wise choice.

Glutamine is important but if you have a good diet you get a lot of the amino acids from whole food alone. In the end I think glutamine is one of the most over hyped supplements lol :)

Food does supply glutamine but I think supplementing with extra glutamine is a good idea if you are trying to build muscle, it will also strengthen your gut lining and we are now realising the importance of gut health. I don't think it's overhyped, it's relatively cheap and proven to be effective.

I don't take extra. Right now I am pregnant, so I have to be careful about what I put in my body. Anything beyond my prenatal is not necessary to me right now. Eating healthier is more important to me.

Hello,
Glutamin is good supplement for building big muscle and gain weight. But the important fact is with that perfect diet is very important.  :o
