Dear Gearskin,

First off, thanks for visiting our website and wanting to become a part of the NuWave Fitness community! We need more like minded individuals like yourself around here!

I still need your heigh in order to determine a max weight we can try and achieve for you. I'll help you create a personalized diet guide. Your going to need eat every 2-3 hours. If weight gain supplements dont work for you, it may be that your lactose intolerant  ?  P90X for Mass works well but you need to have access to heavy weights and stay in the 6-8 rep range for dumbbell exercises. Limit cardio to 1-2 times a week for a maximum for 25 minutes sessions. In order to gain mass you have to be willing to gain a little fat along with the muscle.

So lets start with the first question.

Whats your Current Height?

How Many Calories DO you take in a daily basis( be honest here)

How Often Do you Workout For? For How Long?

What kind of weights/equipment do you have at your disposal?

Oh & lets get a name to call you instead of Gearskin lol :)

Awaiting Your Reply,

Coach Lloyd

I would recommend you get an heavy weight lifting program into affect like P90X and incorporate lifting heavier than 30lbs dumbbells. If you have access to the gym bring P90X on your ipod and when their doing the exercises, lift your weights in the 6-8 rep range.

You need to be eating at least 3000 calories a day and 170+ grams of protein for your size and weight. If your not tracking your calories, you need to be starting today. If you have a smart phone download the fatsecret.com app to help track your calories. If you dont then just sign up on that website and track your calories manually everyday. Write down what you eat and add it into their system. It will definitly help you increase your weight by knowing how many calories a day your eating.

if you can't buy p90x or anything. Then do back squat, bench press, deadlift, overhead press, and pull ups/chin ups. Pick 3 exercises from those and incorporate into a workout 3 days a week. Its called starting strength. You can google the sample program on it. I'd recommend you do a custom p90x mass build first then try starting strength.

As far as protein and weight gain supplements, you can make homemade weight gainers with peanut butter, oatmeal, whey protein regular mixed in, WHOLE milk, should bring quality calories in.

Anymore questions feel free to ask!

i work at a huge dining hall. and i have all excess to the food. what do you recommend i should snack on a lot to get more calories and good thing i should eat for protein.

My new personal favorite snack is peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets! They have carbs & some protein! Otherwise pretzels are good snacks because of the carbs. Once your doing over 12-15 reps of the weight you need to increase it so you stay in 6-8 rep range!
